‘Half Man. Half Biscuit’……

It’s not often a band decides a piece of scenery is so dramatic that they write a song about it, but they did. And who can blame them. When St Paul walked through Gospel Pass he must have thought that the heights rising above him could only have been created by the Lord himself and to this day, there remains a regal serenity that keeps drawing one back…….. Christmas. What a time to follow in his footsteps.

Mick Morris would like to show you around.  You’ll summit both Hay Bluff and Twmpa with a fleeting visit to Gospel Pass and a short but sweet brush with Offa’s Dyke. A Beautiful walk with extraordinary views to the Cambrian Hills and Beyond.

Direction will be taken on the day but with two moderate climbs and the distance involved, this will be a walk that at most will be a gentle test. The weather will be cold and there is a risk of finishing in darkness so please ensure you are suitably equipped. If you need to borrow group head torches they are available, and equipment and clothing advice is freely given by any of our walk leaders. Please also ensure you have sufficient food and drinks, hot if possible, to last you the duration. We also recommend that you carry a personal first aid kit.
